Business history
The historical GE Aerospace division supplied defense electronics, satellites, radar, sonar and communications systems. It included missile and space-related activities.
Martin Marietta completed its acquisition on April 2, 1993. GE retained its aircraft-engine business. Do not confuse this divested division with the company operating as GE Aerospace since 2024.
