01
Business history
GE Capital Fleet Services leased and managed cars and trucks for corporate customers, one of the largest fleet-management operations of its era.
GE completed the sale of its U.S. fleet services business to Element Financial on August 31, 2015, in a transaction valued at approximately $5 billion, and completed the sale of its Mexican, Australian and New Zealand fleet businesses to Element on September 30, 2015. The European fleet businesses followed a separate path to Arval. These were distinct regional transactions, not one worldwide sale.
